Nature is showering us with gifts—dandelions, coltsfoot, mullein, and ramps are awakening all around! Food is sprouting everywhere, and you’ll be astonished to learn how many plants you pass every day are not only nutritious edibles but also powerful medicines.
Join Angie Collins, our Master Wildcrafter, herbalist and Director of Nature Studies at the Ronzio School, for a hike, where you’ll forage, forest bathe, and dive into the wonders of the wild.
The trail offers a perfect mix of adventure and discovery, immersing you in the rich bounty of the landscape. As we wander through its varied terrain, your senses will come alive—spotting edible treasures and herbs like these miraculous plants, cherished for centuries by Native Americans for their healing properties.
Angie will share each plant’s medicinal benefits and teach you how to use them, guiding us with knowledge and respect for the ecosystem to ensure sustainable practices that leave nature undisturbed. This rejuvenating hike and hands-on class is a soulful connection—transforming a simple walk into a rewarding encounter with the seasonal offerings of the earth.
