Never Underestimate Yourself

3 1/2 years. That's how long it took me to find someone to put up a website for my school.

At first I began slowly asking around "Do you know anyone who creates websites?"

After about a year I became a little more forward with my family and friends. "Help me, please. I need a website."

At 2 1/2 years, I approached random strangers under 25 years old... "Do you do websites? I NEED a website!"

As word finally began to spread, I received offers...

"For $5,000 I'll make you a website and for $200 a month I'll manage it for you." was the most common offer.

I let this sink in for a few months.

Wednesday I woke up in the middle of a conversation, which is quite normal for me by the way, and I was answering someone saying "I don't want perfection, I just want something to start with, something I can build on...."

Later that evening, my fiance, who is my biggest cheerleader said to me, "I've never seen anything that, when you put your mind to it, you didn't do."

Today is Friday. Between work & other obligations I have my start. It's not perfect, but it's something to build on.
